Zachary Charles Rodgers, BS

Biography

Zachary Rodgers is a first-year medical student at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He brings over seven years of experience in surgical services, including more than five years as a surgical technologist. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Utah Valley University, where he conducted research alongside Dr. Nicolas Clark in the Human Performance Laboratory. Their work culminated in a published conference abstract examining anthropometric and physiological factors associated with maximal fat oxidation. Zachary is also a commissioned Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and a recipient of the Army Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP).
