Biography
Uma has been an active member of the SCORE group since 2023. Her work with the group has focused on the epidemiology of sports-related injuries, with particular emphasis on injury patterns among female athletes and trends associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Now an orthopaedic surgery resident at the University of Chicago, she looks forward to continuing her involvement with the SCORE group, strengthening existing collaborations, and building new relationships through research.
