Sarah Lee, MS

Biography

Sarah Lee is a recent graduate of the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, where she earned a Master of Science in Medical Science, building a strong foundation in translational research, human physiology, and clinical medicine. With experience spanning both academic research and direct patient care, she has a particular interest in orthopedic research and translating scientific discoveries into improved treatments, recovery, and long-term outcomes for patients with musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. Her previous research experience includes microbiology and molecular biology, with a focus on antimicrobial resistance and genetic therapeutic approaches. Through this work, she developed experience with molecular and cellular research techniques, experimental design, data analysis, scientific literature review, and communicating research findings. These experiences strengthened her interest in applying translational research principles to orthopedics, including musculoskeletal injury, tissue repair and regeneration, orthopedic infection, and the development of novel therapeutic strategies.
