Biography
Dr. Shen-Ying (Richard) Ma MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon and clinician-scientist at MU Health Care’s Missouri Orthopaedic Institute. Immigrating to the United States from Taiwan at age seven, Dr. Ma found his footing through high school football and soccer. That personal connection to sports ignited his passion for sports medicine, giving him deep empathy for athletes striving to overcome injury and return to the activities they love.
