Biography
Raiyaan Shaik is a medical student at Albany Medical College with a B.A. in Biology from Siena College. He has research experience spanning spine surgery education, surgical outcomes analysis, and orthopedic oncology, including co-leading AI-driven spine surgery education initiatives at the Cho Spine Lab and supporting sarcoma patient advocacy and research with Dr. Matthew DiCaprio through Sarcoma Strong. His prior work at Hackensack University Medical Center included a retrospective outcomes analysis of 151 robotic sigmoidectomies and quality improvement research using PDSA methodology. His interests include orthopedic oncology, surgical outcomes research, and sports medicine.
