Rachel Baum, MD, MPH

Biography

Rachel is a second-year orthopedic surgery resident at Mount Sinai with a strong interest in clinical research and evidence-based medicine. Most of her previous research has focused on spine surgery and orthopedic oncology, with an emphasis on epidemiology and outcomes research. Her current research interests include sports medicine, spine surgery, and the application of computer science and coding to advance clinical research and improve patient care. She is excited to contribute to collaborative research efforts that advance musculoskeletal health and surgical outcomes.
