Biography
Michael A. Kuhn, MD, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, arthroscopy, cartilage restoration, and joint preservation. Following a 27-year career in the United States Navy, where he served as Chief of Orthopaedics and Assistant Residency Director, he joined Middlesex Orthopedic & Spine Associates. His clinical and scholarly work focuses on advanced cartilage-repair techniques and the treatment of shoulder, hip, and knee injuries.

Cartilage repair and transplantation, MACI, orthobiologics, sports medicine, joint preservation, shoulder and knee arthroscopy, and clinical outcomes research.
