Biography
Michael Bistoury BS, is a Brooklyn native and a medical student at the CUNY School of Medicine. My interest in orthopaedic surgery has grown through experiences in the operating room, clinic, and surgical education. I have also enjoyed helping create opportunities for other medical students to gain exposure to surgical specialties and connect with mentors. As I continue my training, I hope to become more involved in clinically meaningful research and learn from people who are committed to improving patient care.
Research interests
My research interests include spine surgery, orthopaedic trauma, surgical outcomes, mentorship, and the development and evaluation of clinical education programs for medical students.
