Gautham Nair, BS

Biography

Gautham Nair is a medical student at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, with a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He grew up playing a variety of sports, particularly soccer, which gave him firsthand experience with many sports related injuries and rehab. These experiences helped develop a strong interest in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. His prior research experience spans cartilage tissue engineering, fracture healing, orthopedic biomechanics, and neuroengineering/systems neuroscience. Gautham is excited to further explore his passion for sports medicine by contributing to meaningful orthopedic research and growing through mentorship and collaboration.
