Biography

I’m an MD candidate (Class of 2029) at Albany Medical College whose research centers on spine surgery, pediatric spinal deformity, and data-driven outcomes. My current musculoskeletal work includes a systematic review and meta-analysis comparing preoperative halo-gravity traction with posterior fusion versus three-column osteotomy for severe pediatric scoliosis(manuscript in peer review), an openFDA/MAUDE post-market surveillance study of vertebral body tethering devices, an analysis of opioid outcomes after lumbar fusion, and external validation of spine machine learning models with Dr. Andrew Chan's lab at Columbia. I am interested in collaborative, multi-institutional work in spinal deformity, implant safety, and surgical AI for clinical decision support.
