Biography
Caleb Jacobson is a first-year medical student at NYITCOM with interests in orthopedic surgery, particularly sports medicine, knee and shoulder surgery, and orthopedic trauma. As a former collegiate lacrosse player, he developed discipline, teamwork, and a strong interest in sports medicine and the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. He has prior experience in research examining the effects of Lion’s Mane on neurite outgrowth and cell proliferation in PC12 cells, gaining experience in experimental research and data collection. He hopes to build upon his research experience and contribute to the understanding and treatment of orthopedic injuries.
Research interests
Sports medicine, knee and shoulder surgery, orthopedic trauma.
