Biography
Bassem Darwish, MBA is a third-year medical student at Albany Medical College. He graduated from Union College in 2023 with a BS in Biochemistry and Psychology. Bassem has a deep interest in healthcare systems, stemming from when he lived abroad as an Expat in Europe. As a result, he also pursued and completed an MBA with a focus in Healthcare Administration from Clarkson University in 2023. Before matriculating to medical school, Bassem worked with hospitals in his community as a business and intelligence analyst to help make decisions to best suit their needs and communities. In medical school, Bassem is pursuing an MD with distinction in Bioethics, focusing on fair treatment of IV drug use patients.
