Biography
Allen Dao an incoming second year medical student at the UC San Diego School of Medicine with an interest in orthopaedic surgery. His research background includes conducting systematic reviews, retrospective chart reviews, data analysis, and manuscript writing. This past year, he worked on a systematic review of spine surgeon burnout, a multicenter study of adolescent vertebral burst fractures, and a 10-year cohort study of hardware complications in distal femur fracture fixation. Looking ahead, he hopes to continue collaborating on high-impact orthopaedic research.
