Biography
I am a first-year medical student (MS1) at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. My past research experiences include precision oncology, population health, and neuro-oncology precision medicine. I am experienced in data analysis, statistics, scientific writing, and presentation. I spent my year before medical school working closely with an orthopedic spine surgeon. Thus, my interests have pivoted from oncology and are now centered orthopedics and specifically orthopedic spine surgery. I am looking to apply my research skills to new projects in this specialty. My specific research interests include spinal fusions and outcomes. I have additional interests in osseous malignancies of the spine like osteosarcoma and treatment of these conditions.
